End-to-end process

Six stages cover both goods and specialist services. Your deal record captures each decision so both sides can audit what was agreed.

Apply for access

Submit an application as a buyer, seller, or dual role. We ask for company or sole-trader details, markets of interest, and a short trade background. Incomplete forms are returned once with clear gaps listed — we do not ghost applicants.

Account review

We check identity, intended use, and any trade references you provide. Approved accounts receive market access matching the role. Restricted markets (for example high-value plant) may need extra verification before listing or bidding.

List or search

Sellers publish structured listings: identity fields, condition grade, photos or capacity notes, price basis, and location. Buyers filter boards by category, region, condition, and keywords. Saved searches can alert you when matching stock appears.

Negotiate on the record

Send an offer with price, quantity, and terms. The counterparty can accept, decline, or counter. All steps stay on the deal trail so verbal side-deals are not the only record. When both sides accept the same terms, the deal locks.

Settle payment

Parties confirm the agreed payment method (bank transfer, card via arranged provider, or staged payment for larger lots). High-value trades can follow escrow-style guidance we publish for that market. Payment status is marked on the deal record.

Fulfil and close

Collection, delivery, or service delivery happens against the locked terms. Either side confirms completion. Disputes open a structured case with the deal trail attached — we mediate on process, not by inventing new commercial terms.

Goods vs services

The same deal engine, with fields that match how each type of trade actually works.

Goods trades

Condition grade, serial or batch data, photos, packaging notes, and logistics. Buyers can request extra photos or a short inspection window before acceptance on high-value lots.

  • Ex-works or delivered price basis
  • Collection windows and access notes
  • Optional pre-purchase inspection clause

Service trades

Scope of work, exclusions, capacity units, lead time, and coverage region. Acceptance can be staged against milestones for multi-day jobs.

  • Written scope attached to the deal
  • Milestone or completion sign-off
  • Insurance and certification fields

Rules that keep deals clean

Non-negotiable standards for every account. Breach can mean listing removal or account suspension.

Accurate listings Misdescribed condition or fake part numbers are removed. Repeat offenders lose seller rights.
No off-platform bait You may finalise logistics offline after lock, but bait-and-switch to avoid platform rules is not allowed.
Respect locked terms Once both sides accept, price and key terms only change by mutual written amendment on the deal trail.
Lawful goods only Controlled, stolen, or counterfeit goods are banned. Services must be legally deliverable in the stated region.
Professional conduct Trade talk is fine. Harassment, threats, or discriminatory behaviour is not. Hardcore means serious — not abusive.

Fees & transparency

During early access we publish fee tables before any charge hits your account. You will always see the fee model that applies to your markets before you list or bid.

  • No surprise mid-deal deductions
  • Seller fees disclosed on listing publish
  • Buyer-side fees (if any) shown before offer send
  • Invoice trail for business accounting

Early access note

Hardcore Exchange is onboarding traders by application. Process details above describe the operating model. Live fee rates and payment rails are confirmed in your account welcome pack after approval.
